This DVI extender via Cat6/Cat5e is an affordable solution for transmitting DVI signals over distances of up to 270ft. It uses readily available, low cost CAT5e/6 cable (not included) or UTP CAT5e Solid Core cable cable to make the long distance connection and consists of a Transmitter unit, which plugs into the source's DVI port, and a receiver unit which connects to the display via a DVI cable.
